SMS Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 26, 2026

These SMS Terms & Conditions (the “SMS Terms”) govern the text messaging program operated by King Edwards Kitchen & Bath Design (“King Edwards,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our contact form, or by otherwise opting in (verbally, in writing, or in person), you agree to these SMS Terms.

Quick summary: We will only text you if you opt in. We send messages about your project, appointments, estimates, and customer service. You can reply STOP at any time to cancel, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We never sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

1. Program Description

King Edwards offers a customer care and project communications text messaging program (the “Program”) for individuals who have requested information about, or engaged us for, kitchen, bathroom, cabinetry, or remodeling services in the DFW Metroplex, Texas. The types of messages you may receive include:

The Program is not used for unsolicited marketing or promotional broadcasts.

2. How to Opt In (Call to Action)

You may opt in to receive text messages from King Edwards in any of the following ways:

Website opt-in

On our contact form at kingedwardsconstruction.com/#contact, you may provide your mobile phone number and check the dedicated SMS consent box. The checkbox is unchecked by default and appears next to language that reads:

“By checking this box, I expressly consent to receive text messages from King Edwards Kitchen & Bath Design at the phone number provided above. Messages may include project updates, appointment reminders, design consultation scheduling, estimate follow-ups, and customer care communications related to my inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

Submitting the form without checking the SMS consent box will not enroll you in the Program; we will instead contact you only by email or by phone call.

In-person or written opt-in

During an in-home consultation, design meeting, or contract signing, you may opt in by verbally agreeing to receive texts and providing your mobile number, or by signing a paper or electronic form (including proposal or contract documents) that contains the same SMS consent language shown above. We document the date, method, and language of each opt-in.

Direct reply opt-in

If you initiate a text message conversation with us by texting our published business number, you are consenting to receive replies related to your inquiry. We will not add your number to any other messaging list without separate consent.

3. Consent Is Not a Condition of Purchase

You are never required to consent to receive text messages in order to purchase any product or service from King Edwards. You may decline SMS at any time and continue to communicate with us by phone call or email.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the stage and nature of your project. Most customers receive only a few messages per project milestone (for example, when scheduling, confirming an appointment, or coordinating installation). We do not send recurring marketing broadcasts.

5. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received, depending on your wireless plan and carrier. King Edwards is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier. Please contact your carrier for details on your plan.

6. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can cancel the SMS Program at any time. Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any text message you receive from us. After you send the opt-out message, we will send you a single confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed and will not receive any further texts from the Program. To rejoin, you must opt in again using one of the methods described above.

7. How to Get Help (HELP)

For help at any time, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact us using the information below. We will respond with our business name, a brief description of the Program, and contact information.

8. Supported Carriers

The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability is not guaranteed in all areas or on all devices.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are collected and used only for the purposes described in these SMS Terms. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued participation in the Program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
